Vijay Sethupathi is getting more fees than Shahid Kapoor for the action-thriller web series Sunny, here is the fee structure of both

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor and South superstar Vijay Sethupathi are going to make their digital debut together soon. The director duo of popular web series The Family Man, Raj and DK are producing a web series titled Sunny, in which Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in lead roles. Amazon Prime Video’s Original Web Series Sunny is an action thriller. And now we have come to know that Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi are charging hefty fees for this web series. But the interesting thing is that Vijay is getting more fees than Shahid.

Shahid Kapoor’s fees less than Vijay Sethupathi

A source close to us told us, “The success of The Family Man led to Amazon showing faith in Raj & DK and agreeing to bring in two big stars like Shahid and Vijay for the action thriller web series Sunny. Now that both Shahid and Vijay are big stars in the film world, Amazon paid a hefty amount for their digital debut.”

The source further added, “Shahid asked for a whopping amount of Rs 40 crore for the entire season and his contract also mentions a hike in his remuneration if the show gets renewed for another season. At present, there are plans to make only three seasons. On the other hand, when it comes to Vijay’s fees, there is no such clause in Vijay’s contract, but he has directly charged around Rs 55 crore. The role of both is equally important in this but because Vijay is said to be the superstar of South, Amazon has fulfilled his demand of fees. Vijay is certainly getting a higher fee than Shahid, but like Shahid, his contract does not have any conditions to increase the fees according to the season.”
