The song is sung by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik who sang the song ‘Tujhko Mirchi Lagi’ in the original Coolie No. The chemistry of Varun Dhawan and Saala Ali Khan in this song is reminiscent of the 90s.

I was always clear, that if I ever made this film again, I would use these blockbuster songs. The original songs were composed by music director Anand Milind and lyrics were penned by Sameer, who is Mere Dil Ke Baht Kari Hai. We have done a lot of work together by including these songs in New Coolie No 1, it was my way of thanking him.”
