ZEE5 is soon bringing an exciting sports drama Original film, Rashmi Rocket, starring the incredibly talented Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. The film is based on Rashmi, who is an incredibly fast sprinter and dreams of crossing the finish line as an athlete and making a mark for her country. However, she soon understands that the race to the finish line has many obstacles and what seems like an athletic contest turns into her personal battle for honor and her personal identity. The central theme of the film is gender testing in sports.

We all have often heard stories where actors exercise hard for their projects. Actors are often seen pushing beyond their mental and physical limits to deliver praise-worthy performances. During the shooting of Rashmi Rocket, Taapsee Pannu who played the lead role had suffered an unfortunate injury. Sharing her experience in her own words, Taapsee said, “I got injured once because in the first three days, I got too enthusiastic for the running part. I really enjoyed it, so I didn’t get enough rest between two consecutive sprints and got injured on the third day.

My muscles weren’t even capable of lifting my leg and it took me a few weeks of therapy and a variety of physio sessions and different styles of training to let go of my old technique and learn the new technique to ensure that the particular Do not stretch the muscle too much. Yes, it took a lot of strategy to make sure I could make a comeback after four weeks as we had to shoot the final race for Rashmi Rocket after four weeks.”
