Sushant Singh Rajput’s Kedarnath turns two years old
Sushant played the role of a pithu named Mansoor in the film Kedarnath, based on the 2013 Uttarakhand floods and the devastation caused by it. After the release of Kedarnath, director Abhishek Kapoor had shared many things about the shooting of the film, with this he told that after the release of Kedarnath, Sushant Rajput was upset about getting more discussion than Sara. Because despite her excellent performance, Kedarnath was being seen more about Sara Ali Khan’s debut film. Media was paying more attention to Sara than Sushant, due to which Sushant was not feeling well. In one of his interviews, Abhishek said, “I remember when Kedarnath was released, the media called it bad. I don’t know what happened, Sushant understood that he was not getting that kind of love because everyone’s attention was on Sara at that time. He was lost at that time.”
Along with this, he also spoke openly about Sushant’s dedication. In one of his interviews before the release of the film, Abhishek had told that, “Sushant is very strong mentally and physically. Not everyone can climb a mountain with a heavy weight on their back. As an actor, Sushant shows dedication towards his character, but this time it was difficult for him physically as well.”
Talking about Sushant’s dedication towards work, Abhishek Kapoor had said, “There have been many days when the temperature of Uttarakhand used to be 2-3 degrees and Sushant used to get wet while shooting. He was shivering in the cold and everyone around him was wearing jackets and gloves. He used to shoot in spite of the cold weather and difficulties.”
On the completion of two years of Kedarnath, director Abhishek Kapoor wrote on his Instagram, “So many memories are full of Koot Koot Ke. Still it feels empty.” Apart from this, Abhisheke tweeted, “Dual was spread on poison in both the worlds, by distributing nectar among all, you yourself drank the cup of poison.. Namo Namo Ji Shankara, Bholenath Shankara.”
