Singer Shaan, Sonu Nigam along with 35 performers join hands for Covid-19 relief fund | A total of 35 artists including singers Shaan and Sonu Nigam will organize a concert to raise funds for the Kovid affected people – Bollywood News in Hindi

National Award winner Pallavi Joshi will host a live concert with Indian artists on Saturday, June 5 to support the COVID-19 relief efforts. To raise funds, the artistes will perform at a concert titled ‘Ek Saath: India Will Rise Again’ for orphans, widows, disabled people, refugees, migrants, minorities and artists affected by COVID. Actor Anupam Kher along with his Anupam Kher Foundation, renowned director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and actress Pallavi Joshi under his I Am Buddha Foundation has joined hands with Global Kashmiri Pandit Diaspora (GKPD) to bring you this concert. Seva International Foundation, Kashyap Seva Foundation and US India Pragati Foundation are also supporting the event. 35 artists will participate in the concert.

Concert will be organized for Kovid affected

The cast lineup includes Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik, Shilpa Rao, Kailash Kher, Shaan, Hariharan, Daler Mehndi, Anoop Jalota, Papon, Pankaj Udhas, Prasoon Joshi, Padma Shri Suresh Wadkar, Sadhna Sargam, Padma Shri Malini Awasthi, Jatin and Huh. Rahul Pandit, Swapnil Bandodkar, Sugandha Date, Anuradha Palkurthi, Sunayana Kachru Bhide, Shreya Kaul, Anand Sharma and SRGMP Musicians, Talat Aziz, Annu Malik, Manoj Muntashir and Neerja Pandit are also included.

Actress Pallavi Joshi said, “The film industry has always come together to help in the most difficult times, be it drought, famine, or the entertainment of our soldiers at the borders of our country. The film industry has never shied away from standing up and helping the men and women of their country. This is a great legacy of the film world and I am very happy that the generation of artists recognized this heritage and followed the same culture. This time too it just made a call from me or Anupam ji (Kher) and everyone has agreed without hesitation. I thank them all for their support.”

Talking about the music concert, singer Shaan said, “As we all know these are tough times and it is time to step up the efforts to bring some relief to the COVID affected persons and their families. The Global Kashmiri Pandit Diaspora and I Am Buddha Foundation have joined hands to raise funds and bring some smiles and entertainment into their lives. I am very happy to join my fraternity to come together and be a part of this cause. I urge you to contribute. India needs us. Let’s do this “together”.

Evergreen singer Sadhna Sargam said, “From 2020 till now, due to COVID 19, we all are aware of the situation of the whole world and our country. Global Kashmiri Pandit Diaspora (GKPD), I Am Buddha Foundation and Anupam Kher Foundation are organizing ‘Ek Saath: India Will Rise Again Concert for Covid Relief’. I am thankful to Pallavi Joshi for giving me this opportunity and this is a small contribution from my side.”

Padam Shri Malini Awasthi said, “I am very happy that we are all coming together for the concert ‘Together: India Will Rise Again’. The name it bears says everything in itself. It is the duty of all of us to fully cooperate in this time of crisis, let us move forward together and help the hopeless people facing difficult situation due to covid. I am fortunate to be a part of this concert. We are artists and I also feel that the first duty of an artist should be humanity.”

Raj Pandit said, “Anupam Kher ji has been at the forefront of helping people in every way possible during this difficult time. So when he invited me to be a part of this incredible fundraiser and perform with Salim-Sulaiman, I was very excited. As musicians, this is the least we can do and I hope people in large numbers contribute to this noble cause.”
