Rosie: The Saffron Chapter assumes significance as it also marks the return of producer Prerna V Arora once again.
Arbaaz Khan and Vivek Oberoi
Initially, Rosie: The Saffron Chapter has not only starred Vivek Oberoi but is also one of its producers. But then Bollywood Hungama learned that Vivek has withdrawn his stake in its production. So now the latest promo of Rosie: The Saffron Chapter does not feature Vivek’s production house, Oberoi Mega Entertainment.
A source close to it told Bollywood Hungama, “Vivek was initially a part of the film and was also present during the shooting of Muhurta in December 2020. However, some changes were made to the script. Also, the documents and paperwork were not done. All this angered Vivek and he decided to walk out of the project.”
That was not the only problem with this project. The source added, “There was a lot of mismanagement regarding the shooting of this film as well. We heard that even the hero of this film Arbaaz Khan did not get his payment on time. They are being paid in part. At one point, Arbaaz had to make it clear that he would not shoot till he got his fee. The condition is that 2 dues of vendors have not been cleared yet.”
The source then revealed a shocking incident, “One day, Arbaaz Khan reached the sets and found the vanity van locked. The vanity van man told him that he would not open the door till his dues were cleared. After that Arbaaz left and he didn’t shoot that day.”
