Bollywood Hungama was the first to tell you that Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback film War will be with fame director Siddharth Anand. Produced by Yash Raj Productions and directed by Siddharth Anand, the action drama film Pathan will see Shah Rukh Khan in a never seen before action avatar. Along with Shahrukh, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham will also be seen in important roles in this film. The shooting of the film will start at the end of November. After a long hiatus after the failure of Aanand L Rai’s Zero in 2018, Shah Rukh is all set to return to the sets of the film. We have brought for you some interesting figures related to Shahrukh’s comeback.
Shahrukh Khan ready to return again on the sets of the film
After wrapping up the shooting of Zero in June 2018, Shah Rukh is returning to the sets of the film after almost 870 days. However in the meantime he shot for his cameos in Brahmastra and Rocketry.
It is being said that Yash Raj will announce this film on Shahrukh’s birthday, November 2. So if there is an announcement of this comeback film on Shahrukh’s birthday, then after a gap of 1530 days, Shahrukh will announce his film. Because before that he had announced Zero in August 2016.
The longest gap between the release of his two films
Shah Rukh’s Pathan will release in late 2021, which means it will be the longest gap between his two films. Looking at the current circumstances, there is a plan to release Pathan between October 2021 and January 2022. In this way, there is a gap of 34 to 36 months in the release of Zero and Pathan, which is almost more than 1000 days.
Shahrukh’s last box office hit was Happy New Year in the year 2014. After that almost all his films – Dilwale, Fan, Raees, Jab Harry Matt Sejal and Zero did not do well at the box office. So if in such a situation Shahrukh’s comeback film Pathan is really a hit then it will be the actor’s hit film after 7 years i.e. 84 months, 2520 days. This is definitely the longest gap between 2 hits for an A-listers actor of his generation. But it is said that good things take time.
Shahrukh’s stardom remains intact
Shahrukh rejected more than 20 films during his long break, which included films of many big filmmakers, such as Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ali Abbas Zafar, Salman Khan, Siddharth Roy Kapur etc. Before signing Siddharth Anand’s Pathan, Shah Rukh had agreed to do films of Rajkumar Hirani, Atlee Kumar and Raj & DK.
This proves that Shah Rukh’s stardom hasn’t waned in spite of his box-office failures. That’s why so many big filmmakers offered him their films.
