However, movie director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has lodged a powerful protest towards this ban.
Vivek Agnihotri, director of the movie The Kashmir Files, has tweeted to CM Ashok Gehlot concerning the matter of imposition of Section-144 in Kota. He wrote, “The solely energy of terrorists is that they create worry. We get scared. This is the time of justice for you.” Vivek has also tweeted to Union Minister Anurag Thakur – “If the movie’s efficiency is sabotaged in a democracy, then we must take into consideration justice.”
On the opposite hand, on the imposition of Section-144 in Kota, the Kota administration says that within the coming days, communally delicate festivals like Chetichand, Mahavir Jayanti, Good Friday, Jumatul Vida, Baisakhi and different festivals are coming. Along with this, it is rather necessary to keep up legislation and order in theaters in view of The Kashmir Files movie. Crowd gatherings, dharnas, demonstrations, conferences and processions have been banned.
