Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon will soon be seen together in Shehzada, the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Shahzada, directed by Rohit Dhawan, has started shooting and the makers are planning to release it in November 2022 this year. And now we have got an exclusive update related to this film. A reliable source tells us that the Hindi dubbing rights of Ala Vaikunthapuramulu were sold to Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms for Rs 4 crore in 2020.

The source told Bollywood Hungama, “Goldmines Telefilms, a Hindi dubbing South film firm, was planning to take the Hindi dubbing of Ala Vaikunthapuramulu to a grand scale on TV as well as in the digital world. But last year, when Goldmine came to know that it was planning to bring a Hindi remake of this Telugu film in Bollywood, it put its planning on hold. However, he complained that he had the Hindi rights to the film, stating that its Hindi remake could not be released for at least 6 months. So Goldmine prepared its own dubbing and also started preparing to premiere it on TV and OTT.”

Hindi Dubbed Premiere of Ala Vaikunthapuramulu

Then the team of Kartik Aaryan starrer Shahzada spoke to Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms in this regard. A source said, “The makers of Shahzada felt that the Hindi dubbed version of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo would make a big impact on their film. So the makers of Shehzada requested Manish Shah to stop the Hindi dubbed premiere of Ala Vaikunthapuramulu. Not only this, the makers also offered Manish Shah to make Shahzada’s co-producer, which he turned down.

Manish Shah was adamant to premiere the Hindi dubbed version of Ala Vaikunthapuramulu. And then Shehzada’s team offered a huge amount to stop Manish Shah which he could not say no to. The Shahzada team paid Rs 8 crore to Manish Shah’s Goldmines Telefilms to stop the premiere of the film. Manish made a profit of Rs 4 crore directly from this deal.

According to this deal, the Hindi dubbed version of Ala Vaikunthapuramulu can now premiere on TV and OTT platforms only 16 weeks after Shahzada’s theater release.

Shehzada stars Kartik, Kriti, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedkar in lead roles. The film, directed by Rohit Dhawan and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Allu Aravind, S Radha Krishna and Aman Gill, is releasing on 4 November 2022. The action-packed family musical film has music by composer Pritam.
