Karthik Aryan did not get a chance to work with Shahrukh Khan in his film career so far but now it is going to be possible soon. Bollywood Hungama has exclusively learned that Kartik Aaryan has signed Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film. But Shahrukh will not act in this film rather he will produce it under his production house Red Chillies Entertainment and it will be directed by Ajay Bahl. The story of the film revolves around an unusual love story. Karthik Aryan will be seen in the lead role in this film.

Actually, after finishing the shooting of Dhamaka, Karthik was about to start shooting for Dostana 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, but in view of the increasing threat of Corona, the shooting of the film has been postponed for a few days, so Karthik has 30 to 40 days. The days were free, so he wanted to find a film that he could shoot in these 30-40 days, so that his free time would be utilized. “Talks were going on with Kartik for a long time regarding this film to be made under the banner of Shahrukh and now finally Kartik has said yes and he will start shooting for it in next two months also.” The source told Bollywood Hungama.

“Although it is a social message based film, it is also a rom-com film. Apart from Karthik, no one else has been cast in the film yet. Soon the lead actress as well as other actors will be included in it.” The source told

Just a few days back, Karthik set a new record by finishing the shooting of Ram Madhvani’s film Dhamaka in just 11 days. The film is a remake of a Korean film, The Terror Live. Karthik’s Dhamaka will release on the direct OTT platform Netflix instead of theatre. Presently the post production work of the film is going on.
