This is Salman Khan’s second film after Radhe-Your Most Wanted Bhai which will also have a directorial digital premiere.

A source close to the film said, “Salman feels that the final is like Aayush Sharma’s relaunch. And as cinema halls in Maharashtra are still closed, it is appropriate to have a direct release on a digital platform so that it can reach its target audience.”

Although Zee5 has prepared a special plan for this. Regarding this, the source said, “The Zee team is contemplating a hybrid release of Ultimate. That is, with the final being a digital premiere on ZEE5, it will also release in single screen theaters across India. Both Salman and Zee know that multiplexes will not agree to this idea of ​​releasing their film, and hence they are determined to entertain the audience with single screen as well.

The idea behind this is that the makers want to give an option to the audience to watch the film without leaving the house or the audience who wants to enjoy the film on the big screen can go to the single screen and watch the film. Regarding this, the source said, “However, it is not yet clear whether the final release will be on the pay per view format or the direct premiere. Right now it is being considered. An announcement regarding this will be made soon. At such a time, there is little chance of any film having an exclusive theatrical release unless things change very fast.”

Now that Ultimate is an exclusive property of Salman Khan Films and Zee, they are keeping all their options open and may change the release plan in the coming days.
