REVEALED: Akshay Kumar had put these two conditions for Hera Pheri 3, why this film kept being made twice, know the truth behind it

Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal’s classic comedy film Hera Pheri has left such an impression on the hearts of the audience that not everyone has been able to forget this film. Hera Pheri, which released 20 years ago, was well received by the audience. After this the makers came up with the sequel Phir Hera Pheri which not only created history with its success at the box office but also performed brilliantly on TV. Now the audience wants to see the sequel of Hera Pheri again but till now the third part of Hera Pheri is not out. The audience really wants to know when Hera Pheri 3 will finally come. Bollywood ruckus has brought to you the special reason for the delay in Hera Pheri 3.

After the tremendous success of Hera Pheri and Phir Hera Pheri, however, the makers started preparing to bring its third part i.e. Hera Pheri 3. In the year 2015, producer Feroz Nadiadwala started shooting for Hera Pheri 3 that too without the film’s lead actors Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty. Because he was about to take the new starcast i.e. John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan in Hera Pheri 3 and Neha Sharma and Paresh Rawal were going to be seen with them. But due to financial problems during the shooting itself, the film was shelved.

Akshay had put two conditions

And now Bollywood Hungama has learned that the makers have again started trying to make Hera Pheri 3. If sources are to be believed, “Producer Firoz Nadiadwala had spoken to Akshay for Hera Pheri 3. Akshay had agreed to the film but with two conditions. One is that he wanted the director of this film Dream Girl to be directed by Raj Shaandilyaa. Because Akshay feels that Raj handles comedy films well. And the second condition is that Akshay demanded 70% profit sharing in it.

The source further added, “Firoz Nadiadwala said no to Akshay because of the second condition. On the other hand, Raaj Shaandilyaa also politely declined to direct Hera Pheri 3 as he feels that the Hera Pheri franchise is one of the iconic franchises and doesn’t think he will be able to do justice to it.”

When we asked Raaj Shaandilyaa about Hera Pheri 3 he said, “Yes, I was approached to direct Hera Pheri 3. But the dates of the film were clashing with the dates of my other films. That’s why I couldn’t do it. Well, I had worked with Firoz sir earlier in Welcome Back as a dialogue writer and that’s why I know him very well.”

Hera Pheri 3 was initially supposed to be directed by Neeraj Vora also. But he died on 14 December 2017 due to a heart attack in 2016.
