Rajkummar Rao will be seen in the role of a PT teacher in his upcoming film Chhalaang on Amazon Prime Video. Rajkummar Rao reveals that he has been a teacher in real life as well. Rajkummar Rao told that he was a drama teacher in a school in Gurgaon before taking up an acting career.

The actor says, “Call centers had just started coming up in Gurgaon and most of my friends had joined call center jobs and I was not really good with the language.”

Talking about earning extra pocket money he said, “So I thought what should I do to get extra pocket money? I was in my second year of college then. I thought that I should do what I love very much so I did 1 play for their annual day function called KV Public School in Sector 14, Gurgaon. I stayed there for 3 months and then I focused on myself and learned.

The students love Rajkumar very much, to which he says, “Students love me because we were his age. There really was no age difference. That’s why he used to treat me like a friend.”

Directed by Hansal Mehta, the film is a Luv Films production and presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar. Produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan, Ankur Garg, the film stars versatile actors Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha in lead roles with Saurabh Shukla, Satish Kaushik, Zeeshan Ayyub, Ila Arun and Jatin Sarna in lead roles.

Chaapam is all set to release on 13th November on Amazon Prime Video.
