‘Papa’ Udit Narayan is very happy with Aditya Narayan’s marriage, said- ‘My son and Shweta were in a relationship for the last 10 years’

Singer Udit Narayan’s only son Aditya Narayan tied the knot on December 1. Papa Udit Narayan is very happy on this new journey of his son. Expressing his happiness, Udit said, “December 1 is also my birthday. But my son’s wedding on my birthday was not a plan, it was just a coincidence. But when astrologers declared December as auspicious for marriage, we said, why not? And now we have two reasons to celebrate 1st December.”

Udit said that he did as many people as he could on his guest list. “The wedding reception was allowed to accommodate only 50 people in a venue. So we hired three different sections of ITC Maratha and in each venue we invited guests 50-50. In this way we were able to invite 150 guests. The marriage was held in the temple. Earlier Tilak Ceremony was also organized in Raheja Classic with select guests followed by Mehndi and Sangeet. I am sorry that I could not invite everyone. But I promise to invite all my friends after Covid is over.”

Udit is very happy to receive best wishes from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “After inviting me to the wedding, Modi ji wrote me a letter. So did Bachchan saab and Ambani ji. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh called me to congratulate me. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have received everyone’s best wishes.”

Very happy to have Shweta as my daughter-in-law

Udit considers himself very fortunate to have Shweta as his daughter-in-law. About this Udit said, “She is very soft spoken. She talks very little. We had received many marriage proposals for Aditya.
