The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), which is probing the drugs case in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, has made preparations to make the bail of Riya Chakraborty more difficult. NCB has challenged in the Supreme Court against the bail granted to Rhea Chakraborty in the drugs case. The Bombay High Court had granted bail to Riya Chakraborty in this case, against which the Narcotics Control Bureau has now reached the Supreme Court. The hearing on this will be held on Thursday, March 18.

Clouds of crisis over Riya Chakraborty’s bail

In fact, recently, NCB has filed its charge sheet in the Special NDPS Court while investigating in this case. In this charge sheet, 33 people including Riya have been allegedly made accused. In this chargesheet, Riya has been charged under Section 27A of the NDPS Act. After this, NCB has challenged Riya’s bail in the Supreme Court. A bench of Chief Justice SA Bobde and Justice AS Bopanna will hear this petition of NCB on March 18.

Riya was providing drugs to Sushant

In the chargesheet, Riya has been accused that since November 2019, Riya was providing drugs to Sushant. In this regard, NCB has said that Riya had arranged money for the purchase of drugs, so she was constantly financing the purchase and sale of drugs. Riya, with the help of her brother, Shouvik Chakraborty, created a channel for the supply of drugs.

The NCB chargesheet also said that on the basis of available evidence it is clear that Riya made a complete plan to buy, possess, sell and transport drugs from one place to another. She was involved in the sale and purchase of Ganja, Marijuana and Bud. It has also been said in the chargesheet that Riya was accompanied by her brother Shauvik, Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda, cook Dipesh Sawant and a person named Rishikesh, who were involved in drug dealing.

CBI is probing the matter

Let us tell you that on June 14, 2020, Sushant was found dead in his flat in Mumbai. In the postmortem reports, Sushant’s death was said to be a suicide but his fans and family did not agree to consider it a suicide, so the investigation of the matter was handed over to the CBI.

The CBI searched many angles in its investigation, out of which one angle of drugs also came to light, after which Riya was also taken into judicial custody for providing drugs to Sushant. The CBI is probing the matter and has not reached any conclusion yet. The investigating agencies do not want to leave any angle in the investigation of this case, so its decision is taking time.
