Nawazuddin Siddiqui to play positive character in action thriller film Sangeen

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is busy shooting for his next action thriller film Sangeen. Nawaz is shooting overnight in London while preparations are on to impose lockdown again. To this Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, “Yes, it is difficult. But they say that the work/show should go on. We are shooting in the covid bubble following the covid guidelines. I am in London for 1 month.”

When Nawaz was asked about his film and his character, he said that he cannot reveal much about it. He said, “It is a thriller film. In this I will be seen in the lead role. Apart from this, I have been forbidden to tell anything.

Director Jaideep Chopra made a thriller titled Maazi in 2013. The interesting aspect of Sangeen is that Nawazuddin is playing a completely positive character in Sangeen, which doesn’t have any gray shades.

In this regard, Nawaz said, “I have played positive characters in many films like Manto, Ghoomketu, Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Yes, I agree that my negative character has made more impact on people. During the lockdown, I watched cinema from all over the world, every film, every character taught me something. There are many different avenues of acting for cinema from stage to street play.”
