John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi’s gangster drama Mumbai Saga was released in full form in theaters and the audience also received it with a heartfelt welcome. Mumbai Saga, which released on a normal weekend, got off to a good start in terms of non-holidays and it continues in the weekdays as well. Mumbai Saga earned Rs 1.49 crore on Monday. While Roohi, which released last week, earned Rs 0.52 crore, Mumbai Saga earned Rs 1.49 crore. The total earning of both the films was around Rs 2 crore, thus making Monday a good day for the box office collection.
John Abraham’s Mumbai Saga Earnings
Mumbai Saga, directed by Sanjay Gupta, has proved to be quite the box office collections. While the film earned Rs 2.82 crore on the first day of its release, there was a drop in its earnings on Saturday and the film earned Rs 2.40 crore. On Sunday, the Mumbai saga picked up the pace again and touched Rs 3.52 crore. In this way, it is being speculated that during the pandemic period, there will be a lot of ups and downs in its box office collection. Mumbai Saga has earned a total of Rs 10.23 crore so far.
On the other hand, talking about Roohi, Roohi produced by Dinesh Vijan has earned Rs 20.87 crore so far. While Roohi earned Rs 0.72 crore on Friday, its earnings declined on Monday and the film earned Rs 0.52 crore. If Roohi earns this full week also with this speed then its box office collection will be better at the end of the week.
With Saina and Haathi Mere Saathi releasing in theaters in the coming weeks, the box office collections of Roohi and Mumbai Saga may get affected.
