On the wish list of most of these actors, Zoya Akhtar has led the way in storytelling with her unconventional subjects. This is the reason why many eminent actors have often been vocal about the opportunity to work with Zoya. While waiting to tick Zoya’s name from her bucket list, Kareena Kapoor Khan said, “I look forward to working with Zoya Akhtar, that is a box that is yet to be ticked. There were many opportunities in the past, but it was not possible because of me. His films are as brilliant as poetry. I love watching Gully Boy over and over again.”

Sharing a wish list of directors with whom Kartik Aaryan would like to work, he said, “I am looking forward to a call from the filmmakers who are on my wish list – Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Zoya Akhtar and Shoojit Government. I will take my success more seriously the day I sign films with him.”
