Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel get relief from arrest on this condition, lawyer assures the court

The Bombay High Court has given a big relief to Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel. The Bombay High Court has granted interim relief from arrest to Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel in a sedition case. The High Court was hearing the case against both the sisters after the FIR was registered against them. However, the High Court has ordered Kangana and Rangoli to appear before the Mumbai Police on January 8.

The court has directed the Mumbai Police not to take any action against Kangana and her sister Rangoli Chandel. The complainant’s lawyer Rizwan Merchant argued in the court that he hoped that Kangana should refrain from making any provocative or provocative tweets. Consequently, the court took on record the statement of Kangana’s lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui which said that Kangana and Rangoli Chandel would not comment in the public domain with reference to the FIR. The next hearing will be on January 11. Till then, Kangana and her sister have got relief from arrest.

Significantly, the police had registered an FIR against Kangana and Rangoli Chandel regarding a post made on social media. He has been accused of creating hatred and communal tension in the society. This complaint against Kangana and Rangoli Chandel was made by the casting director Munawwar Ali. He said that both the sisters have defamed the entire film industry through their social media posts. After this, Kangana and Rangoli filed a petition in the Bombay High Court requesting quashing of the FIR registered against them by the Mumbai Police.

At the same time, the Bombay High Court will give its verdict on November 27 on the petition filed against the action of BMC in Kangana’s Mumbai office.
