In Sushant Singh Rajput case, Mumbai Police told Bombay High Court, ‘Maybe Sushant’s mental condition worsened due to medicines given by sisters’

While the CBI is busy investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, the Bombay High Court has dismissed the allegations leveled against him by saying that the FIR lodged by Riya Chakraborty against Sushant’s sisters (Priyanka Singh and Mitu Singh) a few days ago is false. Said imaginary. Along with this, the CBI also objected to the FIR filed by Riya in the Bombay High Court with the Mumbai Police. CBI’s stand for Mumbai Police was that they should have done a preliminary inquiry before registering the FIR. Two FIRs cannot be registered for the same thing. The CBI had called this FIR legally incorrect. And now on this issue, Mumbai Police has filed an affidavit in the Bombay High Court saying that it was their duty to register an FIR against the sisters of Sushant Singh Rajput. Police said the complaint lodged by Riya against Priyanka Singh and Mitu Singh has “disclosed the crime”.

Was duty bound to file FIR against sisters of Sushant Singh Rajput

The affidavit, filed by Bandra Police Senior Inspector Nikhil Kapse, said the police was not trying to “influence or derail” the CBI’s investigation by filing an FIR against Rajput’s sisters. In the affidavit filed in the Bombay High Court, it was said that she was duty bound to file the FIR. The police has also denied the allegations that she is trying to hurt the reputation of Sushant and his sisters. In this affidavit, the Mumbai Police has urged to dismiss the petition filed by Sushant’s sisters – Priyanka Singh and Mitu Singh.

Sushant’s mental condition worsened due to medicines given by sisters

Police Inspector Nikhil Kapse of Bandra Police has filed an affidavit saying that the police is not maligning the image of any petitioner or the deceased. The affidavit mentions the prescription of medicines without testing. According to the affidavit, the Mumbai Police has said that “perhaps Sushant Singh Rajput’s mental condition worsened due to the medicines given by the sisters”.

Let us tell you that in September, Riya had filed a case against Sushant’s sisters for cheating and illegally giving medicines to Sushant. In her complaint, Riya has named Priyanka Singh, Mitu Singh and Dr Tarun Kumar of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital as accused. In the FIR, it was alleged that Sushant’s sisters gave Sushant medicines without any doctor’s prescription, due to which the actor had a panic attack. This FIR was lodged at Bandra Police Station and later it was transferred to CBI.
