You have shifted to your new home. How does it feel to live in a new second home after all these years?
Home always feels like home when my parents are with me. Where I am with them is my home. For me my parents are my world. Whatever I do, I do to make them feel proud. I pray that I never do anything to disappoint them.
Your father says you have gifted this house to your mother and she is just a passerby?
You already know how he is. Dad is trying to be cool about this. Maybe he’s doing the act of taking it too casual. But she is as excited about our new home as my mother. We are all excited. This house is equally important for my father, my mother and my sister.
It is no joke for someone so young to be able to buy such a luxurious new home. How do you see your journey so far?
I just see it as a journey. I feel it is the blessings of my parents that have brought me where I am.
Don’t you feel anything is lost in such a big house?
Sir, to be honest, the size of the house does not matter to me. I am so grateful to God that I was able to buy a house for my parents. Even before I became an actor, it was on my to-do list i.e. Yeh Kaam To Karna Hi Hai.
The response to your song Vande Mataram has reached the PM. How does it feel?
First of all I would like to thank (producer) Jackky Bhagnani for motivating me to sing this song. I was very nervous because singing a song for our country was a huge responsibility. So I definitely wanted to give my 100 percent and put my every emotion into words and songs.
I could feel the emotions flowing through the words?
I was singing because it had to be the voice of every Indian. I am very grateful to my honorable Prime Minister for approving our sincere effort.
