Gangubai Kathiawadi will take Alia Bhatt’s career to a new height, may release on Diwali

The shooting of Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi is almost over now. The last schedule of gangster drama Gangubai Kathiawadi, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, was shot on a newly constructed set in Film City. A source close to the film said, “For the past two months, Bhansali and Alia Bhatt were shooting for Gangubai Kathiawadi night and night. Because of this he could not even get enough sleep. But now the shooting has shifted to day, so Alia is also able to normalize herself with night shooting.”

If all goes well, Gangubai Kathiawadi, directed by Bhansali, will release during Diwali. “Bhansali wants to release this film only in theatres, no matter how much he has to wait for it. The Tamil film Master released in theaters during Pongal and the audience also showered their love on it, resulting in a record opening at the box office. Hope theater gets similar response in Hindi belt too. Bhansali wants to release it on Diwali. If all goes well, Gangubai Kathiawadi will get 2000 print releases across India.

Alia has worked so hard for Gangubai Kathiawadi that her career is expected to take a different level after its release. Alia has given the best performance of her career so far in Bhansali’s film. A source close to Bhansali said, “Alia changed everything from her body language to her voice for Gangubai Kathiawadi. She will look different in Gangubai in every way, be it walking or talking. His posture is quite typical and vocalizations can be heard. It would not be wrong to say that Gangubai Kathiawadi will be a new beginning for Alia.”
