Earlier this month, Anubhav Sinha released the teaser of his much-awaited Bhojpuri music video, Bombay Mein Ka Baa, with which he is collaborating with his versatile actor friend Manoj Bajpayee. This Bhojpuri song is sung by Manoj Bajpayee.

Sometime back, a video of the director-actor duo was released explaining how the song came into existence and how it fits with the current socio-cultural norms. During this, both Manoj and Anubhav share interesting stories and experiences from their respective lives and their personal relationship with Bhojpuri.

Manoj also told how he felt inspired after reading the lyrics of the song for the first time and director Anubhav Sinha shared how his mother used to do Bhojpuri baa, but after his mother passed away, this language came into his life. He started missing and from here he got the inspiration to make a Bhojpuri song.

Also, the duo also shared how they are collaborating on this song together and are back together after 26 years.

The song ‘Bombay Mein Ka Ba’ was shot in a city studio in one day amid the coronavirus pandemic. “I have shot most of my songs in one day, including the popular track ‘Dus Bahane’ and luckily all those songs have been chartbusters.” Anubhav told Sinha.
