EXCLUSIVE: Special entry of Akshaye Khanna in Shilpa Shetty and Paresh Rawal’s comedy drama Hungama 2

Filmmaker Priyadarshan is all set to entertain the audience with Hungama 2, a sequel to his cult comedy film Hungama (2003). The shooting of the film has been completed and now the post-production work of the film is going on. While the film will feature Shilpa Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Meezaan Jaffrey in lead roles, Bollywood Hungama has exclusively heard that Akshaye Khanna, who played the lead role in the original Hungama, will also be seen playing a special role in Hungama 2.

Akshaye Khanna’s extended cameo in Hungama 2

A source said, “Hungama 2 will have Akshay in an extended cameo role. He has also shot for his part. Akshay has a very important role and his cameo drives the story of the film.” The source further added that Hungama is a franchise film and not a sequel. It will come with a fresh story hence the makers named it Hungama 2.

Now that Paresh Rawal was also associated with the original Hungama, he will not be seen carrying forward his character in Hungama 2 but will entertain the audience with a new character. And not only this, the characters of Akshay and Paresh will not have any relation with each other.
