EXCLUSIVE: Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde’s comedy drama Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali booked for Diwali 2022 release

Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala are all set to entertain the audience with their upcoming film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, which has now been renamed as Bhaijaan. Salman Khan will be seen in the lead role in this film. Pooja Hegde will be seen for the first time as Salman’s love interest. Apart from this, Aayush Sharma and Zaheer Iqbal will also be seen in important roles in the film. Directed by Farhad Samji, this film is not only a comedy drama but also gives a strong message. And now Bollywood Hungama has got exclusive information about this film of Salman Khan, and that is the release date of the film.

Salman Khan’s Bhaijaan gets release date

A reliable source told Bollywood Hungama about the release date of the film, “Salman and Sajid Nadiadwala recently had a meeting to discuss the shooting schedule and release date of Bhaijaan. During this meeting, both of them unanimously decided to release Bhaijaan during the Diwali weekend of 2022. Both believe that the script of their film is full of comedy and family sentiments, so it would be perfect to release it during Diwali.”

Salman will start shooting for Bhaijaan only after the shooting of Tiger 3 is over. The shooting of Bhaijaan will begin in early November in India. Farhad has also finished shooting for Bachchan Pandey with Akshay and is now busy with the pre-production of Bhaijaan.

The story revolves around three brothers and their families.

Well if Bhaijaan releases during Diwali then it will be Salman’s first Diwali release after Prem Ratan Dhan Payo with Sooraj Barjatya. The source added, “The shooting and release date of Bhaijaan will be finalized as per the Covid situation.”

The story of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali which is now Bhaijaan revolves around three brothers and their families. Bhaijaan is said to be a Hindi remake of a Tamil film in which the elder brother refuses to marry because he believes that their marriage may lead to a split in their joint house. While their younger brothers have found their respective love but they cannot get married until their elder brother is married. So they start looking for a girl for their elder brother. Aayush Sharma, Zaheer Iqbal and Asim Riaz will also be seen as Salman’s younger brother. While Pooja Hegde will play the character of Salman’s love interest.
