Bollywood actress Esha Gupta, who is quite popular among fans due to her fitness and glamorous looks, has been a part of Bollywood for a long time. But recently Isha showed that aspect of Bollywood in which she had to face a lot because of her complexion. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Esha Gupta revealed that, when she entered the industry, she was thrown out because of her complexion. Even his actors used to advise him that he should look fair. Isha told that the makeup artist used to do makeup of her entire body.

During the promotion of her upcoming thriller series Niqab with Mallika Sherawat and Gautam Rode, Esha had an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama in which Esha had openly revealed that there was a time when makeup artists deliberately tried to hide her dark complexion. Isha told that she was seen as ‘sexy’ because of her looks. During the interview, Isha said, “I remember when I came here initially, there were some actors with whom I had not even worked, but they used to tell me together – ‘You do your makeup a little black, gora kiya kar’. .’ I wondered what it was?”
Isha further said, “There were also make-up artists who always tried to make me look fair and then they had to paint my whole body because my body complexion did not match my face. I have done two multi-starrers and they told me you are sexy because I have dark skin tone. What is considered black in our country can only be sexy or negative. Girls of fair complexion are considered to be fair. I hope things change soon. And by the way, things are changing now.”
On the work front, Esha, who made her Bollywood debut with Jannat 2 opposite Emraan Hashmi, has appeared in several films like Badshaho, Humshakals and Total Dhamaal.
