Like every year, this time also veteran photographer Dabboo Ratnani has completed his special calendar photoshoot. And now he is posting pictures of his calendar photoshoot one by one on his social media. Many big celebrities of Bollywood become a part of this calendar photoshoot of Dabboo Ratnani. Not only this, on normal days, this special calendar of Dabboo Ratnani is launched in a grand event but due to the pandemic, this time its virtual launch took place. Dabboo did calendar photoshoots with many Bollywood celebrities but his experience with Akshay Kumar was quite different. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Dabboo opened up about his photoshoot experience with Akshay.

Talking about his photoshoot experience with Akshay, Dabboo Ratnani said, “Akshay and I have been shooting together since the beginning of our careers. He has been a part of calendar shoots since 2001 and I have shot a lot with him. I extensively shoot all his advertising campaigns, all his personal shoots and film promotions.

I have worked a lot with Akshay. In fact, we even did dom stuff for Bellbottom which will be out soon. He is very easy going, energetic and has a good fun-loving style. His shoot gets over in a very short time. Because he is very smart. He gets up early in the morning, although I also get up early in the morning. Sometimes I shoot with him at 5-6 in the morning and we are back home by 9 in the morning. In four-five hours we finish a lot of work. There’s a lot of positivity in him.”

Akshay is a trained photographer

Dabboo further added that, Akshay is a trained photographer and his understanding of photography proves to be very helpful. Dabboo said, “He is a trained photographer. Before getting into acting, he actually worked with a photographer. So he has a good understanding of camera lighting, posing and how this field works. Akshay’s understanding of photography makes his photoshoots easy.”
