Director Anil Sharma and Producer Deepak Mukut get Apne’s original writer Neerraj Pathak to write the sequel | Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol will see their original touch in Apne 2 – Bollywood News in Hindi

The biggest Bollywood announcement of the year was made a few weeks back when producer Deepak Mukut and director Anil Sharma revealed that they are back with the Deol family for Apen 2. Veteran actor Dharmendra will join his 2 with sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol and grandson Karan Deol. To make their 2 the best, the makers have chosen their writer Neeraj Pathak.

Director Anil Sharma has also chosen his writer Neeraj Pathak for his 2. He told, “I was looking for the perfect script to make my 2. I got around 10-12 story ideas, but I chose Neeraj. Neeraj has worked with us and wrote his own for us. It was a wonderful script that touched our hearts all. Though Apne 2 is a completely new story, Neeraj’s writing will help us retain the same sentiments and purity attached to us. The essence of the characters is in their blood. I am happy to work with Neeraj Pathak once again in Apna 2.”

But possibly a tragedy could be a major obstacle to their association. Neeraj got infected with Kovid 19, after which he reached Sharma. He says, “It was a huge struggle for him. When Neeraj came to know about the corona virus, he called me and told me about it. He was so professional that he did not want the progress of the film to be affected. He told me that if I want, I can choose another writer for my 2. But we wanted him as a writer, because we are our own. He fought like a fighter and a boxer in himself and recovered.

Deepak Mukut says, “It would have been incomplete without my 2 Neeraj Pathak. All the characters are his brainchild and no one knows the world better than him. So we are happy that Neeraj is joining our journey.”

Says Neeraj, “I have had a wonderful association with Anil Sharma ji in Apne. Deepak ji and I have worked together in the past as he was my first producer and I am very happy to be associated with him again. It is an honor for me to write once again for the Deol family, whose cast also includes Karan Deol. I am thrilled and excited to give it my best.”

The script is completely ready and the shooting of the film will start from March 2021 in Punjab and Europe. The film is presented by Soham Rockstar Entertainment and produced by Deepak Mukut, which is gearing up for a Grand Diwali release next year.
