Fulfilling the commitment made by his fans, Salman Khan’s much awaited film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai was finally released on 13th May. Released in overseas theatres, Radhe was released on Zee5’s ‘pay-per-view’ service ZEEPlex along with a few cinemas across the country. Due to the second wave of Corona, Salman’s fans could not see Radhe in theaters as theaters were closed due to Corona lockdown. Although Radhe released in 3 theaters in the state of Tripura, 2 in Agartala and 1 in Dharmanagar. And now Radhe has been released in theaters in Maharashtra as well. On June 5, the Maharashtra government has allowed the shooting of films and TV shows under its new unlock plan with strict corona guidelines after the corona curfew. Actually, Maharashtra government announced that they will unlock the state by grading the districts at different levels.

Meanwhile, Salman’s Radhe was released in two theaters in Maharashtra. Enjoy, a drive-in cinema – Malegaon, and another at Khinwasra Cineplex (formerly Apsara Cinema) – Aurangabad which released Radhe in theatres. Enjoy, a drive-in cinema The theatre has two shows of Radhe every day. While 4 shows will run in Khinwasra Cineplex. When the owner of the drive-in cinema was questioned about the release of Radhe, he said that 22 people watched the film in their respective cars in the 7:30 pm show while 40 people enjoyed Radhe sitting on a chair.
While the manager of Khinvasara Cineplex Theater told us, “We sold 22 tickets yesterday. But we will continue with the release of the film because the release of the film creates a stir in the theatres. We will keep Radhe in the cinema hall till a new film comes out for release. Yes it is possible that there will be 4 to 2 shows. But the theaters will not be closed.”
The source added, “The makers plan to release Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai in more cities in the coming days, including a few single screens in Mumbai and other cities. Also, outside Maharashtra, the audience will soon get to see Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai on the big screen.”
A trade expert told Bollywood Hungama, “The total collection from Aurangabad Theater yesterday stood at Rs 2420 while Radhe from Drive-in Cinema in Malegaon stood at Rs 3597.86. So, in this way the total collection of Radhe yesterday stood at Rs.6017.86. These are all approximate figures.”
Bollywood Hungama had earlier reported that Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai had earned a total of Rs 63,248 in a week from 3 theaters in Tripura. Radhe has so far earned Rs 69,265.86 at the domestic box office, including yesterday’s two theaters in Maharashtra.
