BREAKING: Akshay Kumar’s cop drama Sooryavanshi will be released in theaters on April 2, 2021, the makers will announce on this day

The films which could not be released in theaters in 2020 due to Corona epidemic are now all set to release in theaters in 2021. Recently, when the central government approved the opening of all cinema halls in the country with 100% capacity, there has been a wave of happiness in the film industry. Earlier, with the implementation of the unlock phase, theaters were allowed to open with 50% capacity, due to which the filmmakers did not consider it appropriate to release their films in theatres. But now that theaters are being opened as before, filmmakers have also agreed to release their films in theatres.

Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi will be released in theaters

And in this the first name comes Akshay Kumar’s cop drama Suryavanshi. Sooryavanshi, directed by Rohit Shetty, may release in theaters on 2 April 2021. There are speculations in the trade market that Akshay’s Sooryavanshi is all set to release in theaters on Good Friday i.e. 2nd April 2021. Although there is no official announcement on this yet, Bollywood Hungama has exclusively heard that Sooryavanshi is releasing on 2nd April itself.

An informed source reveals, “Rohit Shetty is in talks with theater owners for the release of Sooryavanshi. The film’s co-producer Reliance Entertainment is also involved in this conversation. The makers of Sooryavanshi want to resolve all issues related to the release with the exhibitors like payment of VPF (virtual print charges), revenue sharing, less gap between OTT and theatrical releases etc. He is confident that soon a consensus will be reached on these issues.”

This is the first big film after the lockdown

The source further added, “The makers are planning to announce the release date of Sooryavanshi in a big way. This is the first big film after the lockdown which is going to release in theatres, so the makers do not want to leave any stone unturned.”

When asked when the makers are planning to announce the release date of Sooryavanshi, the source said, “Hopefully to announce next week. If this announcement happens on the 9th, then it should not be a surprise because number 9 is Akshay’s lucky number.

Apart from Akshay, Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff, Javed Jaffrey and Sikandar Kher will also be seen in important roles in Sooryavanshi. Apart from this, Singham Ajay Devgan and Simba Ranveer Singh will also be seen in cameo roles in the film.
