Fulfilling the commitment made by his fans, Salman Khan’s much awaited film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai was finally released on 13th May. Along with cinemas, Radhe has also released on digital platforms. Although due to the lockdown in India, the Indian audience is getting to see this film only on the digital platform, but in the overseas market it has also been released in cinemas (where theaters are open). Cinematographers can watch the film on Zee5’s ‘pay-per-view’ service ZEEPlex for just Rs.249. Apart from this, Radhe is also available on DTH platforms like Dish, d2h, Tata Sky and Airtel Digital TV. But now the question is whether the hybrid release of Radhe was commercially successful or not?

Salman Khan’s Radhe brings profit to the makers

Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, released on Zee5’s ‘pay-per-view’ service ZEEPlex, did a stellar performance digitally. Bollywood Hungama had reported that the makers of the film have sold all the rights of the film to ZEE for a substantial amount. The total making of Radhe cost the makers 90 crores while Salman, who incidentally also produced the film, earned a profit of 100 crores from Radhe.

Although initially the deal with ZEE for all the rights of Radhe was to be done for Rs 230 crores but then it was reduced to Rs 190 crores. If this deal was done for Rs 230 crore, then Salman would have made a profit of Rs 130 crore.

And now everyone is curious to know about the income from pay per view model that how much ji earned from Radhe through this model. If the earnings from Radhe will be lucrative, then it can become an example for other upcoming films.
