RSVP and Roy Kapur Films are excited to announce that Oscar winner A.R. Rahman will give music for his upcoming film Pippa, directed by Raja Krishna Menon and starring Ishaan Khatter, Mrunal Thakur and Priyanshu Painyuli. Pippa is the first action-packed war film based on the book The Burning Chiefs by war veteran Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta. In the film Pippa, Ishaan Khattar will be seen as Brigadier Mehta, a part of the 45th Cavalry Tank Squadron and a veteran soldier who along with his siblings fought east during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. and made the neighboring country Bangladesh independent.

The film’s unique title is based on the Russian popular war tank PT-76 affectionately called Pippa. Pippa means an empty ghee box which can easily float in water. The film is centered on this iconic army tank.

His music will fill life in this film
