The shooting of Ram Setu, an action-adventure drama that traces the roots of India’s cultural and historical heritage, has begun today. Akshay Kumar today informed about the commencement of the shooting of Ram Setu with the disclosure of his new look and role. Akshay Kumar will be seen in the role of an archaeologist in Ram Setu. For this, Akshay has also made a lot of changes in his look, which is clearly visible in the picture shared.
Akshay Kumar becomes archaeologist
Akshay is going to be seen in a never seen before avatar in Ram Setu. Sharing his first look from the film, Akshay wrote, “The journey of shooting for the most special film for me has begun today. The shooting of Ram Setu has started. I am playing the role of an archaeologist in this. I would love to hear your thoughts on this look. It’s always meant to me.” Akshay has also openly asked the fans for their opinion about this look. After this post of Akshay, the fans have given a positive response on Instagram.
Akshay’s character in Ram Setu is an archaeologist who is searching for the truth about the Ram Setu between India and Sri Lanka. Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrat Bharucha are going to be seen with Akshay in this film. The Muhurta shot of Ram Setu was taken in Ayodhya only last week with the blessings of Lord Ram. While some important portions of the film will be shot at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, 80% of the film will be shot in Mumbai.

The film is being produced by Aruna Bhatia, Lyca Productions and Vikram Malhotra. While the film is being directed by Abhishek Sharma and Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi is associated with the film as an executive producer.
