Akshay Kumar announces the confirmed release date of Bellbottom, to be released in theaters across the world including India on July 27

Due to the lockdown caused by the Corona epidemic, the films were not able to be released in theaters but now slowly the country is reaching the unlocked phase. While on one hand the Maharashtra government has approved the shooting, now theaters are also on the verge of opening. And after the lockdown, the first film to be released as soon as the theaters open will be Akshay Kumar’s spy-thriller Bell Bottom based on the true incident. Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor’s Bell Bottom will hit the theaters on July 27, 2021. Akshay himself has announced this by sharing a video on social media today.

Significantly, Akshay’s suspense drama Bell Bottom became the first film to be shot abroad after the lockdown. Akshay and his Bell Bottom team reached Scotland by private jet for the shoot where in 35 days Akshay and the rest of the team worked in double shifts to finish the shoot ahead of schedule.

Bell Bottom is a period spy thriller movie and its story is set in the 80s. Akshay will be seen in the role of a secret agent in the film. Along with Akshay, Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi will also be seen in lead roles in this film. The film will be released world wide. It is being told that the film will be based on plane hijacking. Directed by Ranjit M Tiwari, the story of this film is written by Aseem Arora and Parvez Sheikh. While it will be produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikhil Advani.
