Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra & Family and Shahid Kapoor will have a tough box office competition on Diwali 2021

The films stuck for their release due to the theaters being closed due to the Corona epidemic were released on direct OTT platforms instead of theaters and some are still happening. But the biggest box office clash will be seen on Diwali 2021 when Akshay Kumar’s Rakshabandhan, Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey and Deol Parivar’s will release in their 2 theatres.

A trade source told Bollywood Hungama that Diwali 2021 will see a massive clash at the box office. Regarding this the source said, “Every producer wants to earn maximum profit from their film, so what can be better than a festive season for the release of their film? Diwali is the highest earning season in the festive season. The films released during this period are expected to earn handsomely at the box office, so everyone wants to release their films during this period.”

The source further added, “Diwali 2021 will see a huge clash at the box office. Akshay Kumar’s Rakshabandhan, Alia Bhatt-Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, Dharmendra-Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol’s Apne 2 and Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey, a Hindi remake of a Telugu sports film, will hit the theaters during Diwali.

“While Akshay’s Rakshabandhan and Deol family’s Apne 2 is a family drama, Alia’s Gangubai Kathiawadi is a biographical gangster drama. But being a Bhansali film, it will be presented as a family entertainer. On the other hand, Shahid’s Jersey is a sports drama film which is very much liked in India. So this box office clash is really going to be a big boon to the audiences.” The source told
