Abhishek Bajaj to play a negative character in Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor’s Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui

After delivering successful TV shows like Dil Deke Dekho, Parvarish and Meri Bhabhi, talented actor Abhishek Bajaj made his Bollywood debut with Student Of The Year 2, where he was seen in a pivotal role opposite Tiger Shroff in the film. Abhishek is now looking forward to his second Hindi film which is Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor-starrer, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, in which he plays a negative role. The film features Ayushmann as a cross-functional athlete and the film recently wrapped up the shoot in Chandigarh.

Talking about Abhishek’s role, a source from the unit said, “His character will be Ayushmann’s antagonist in the film. Both the actors bonded over their Punjabi background during the shoot. Since he could not exercise in the gym due to the pandemic, he enjoyed exercising on Punjabi songs on the sets, with Ayushmann’s trainer often guiding Abhishek.

The source says that the shoot began in October and the unit had ensured that all safety precautions were taken, such as maintaining social distancing and following the COVID-19 protocols.
